Education
After completing a B. A. Degree majoring in Psychology, Pierre went on to study part time (whilst working) to gain an Advanced Diploma in Personnel Management. His further education includes numerous training courses in Sales, Management and Personal Development and various conferences over the past 25 years.
Pierre maintains an extensive personal library of books on management, sales, motivation, leadership and understanding the power of the human mind, enabling him to gain new knowledge and understanding.

Experience
Pierre has a unique blend of education and experience, with 25 years in sales and management roles in the Financial Services Industry. This experience has lead to great success as a manager.
Some of his achievements are:

  • Agency in Old Mutual (largest financial services company in South Africa) finished number 1 out of 121 agencies in 1986 and number 4 in 1987
  • Top Regional Sales Manager in Westpac in 1992, 1993, 1994
  • Top State Manager in Westpac in 1995
  • Qualified for 9 out of a possible 10 Conferences at Westpac (Criteria based on highest levels of productivity of advisers).

What makes this experience more noteworthy is that the Financial Services industry sells an intangible product to people who do not see the need for the product. The industry has gone through enormous changes and legislative pressures over the past 10 years.

Pierre has experienced the huge step of emigrating to Australia from South Africa to start a new personal, professional and financial life. Leaving a very successful career in South Africa, Pierre has achieved his financial goals in Australia and now together with wife and partner, Linda, they run a very successful luxury bed and breakfast (Pinda Lodge) in Margaret River.

Linda has 7 years with Westpac as a Financial Adviser. During that time she achieved extraordinary success:

  • Qualified for the Chairman's Council (top 10 advisers nationally) in 2 consecutive years, including finishing 3rd in one year
  • The first and only woman to have finished in the top 10 in Westpac Financial Services
  • Qualified for all national & state conferences ( based on volume of sales)
